of speeds up to 173 MPH. Only 4333 of the Sport series SLK and the SLR Maclaren were built For Formula One Racing. Just 2056 were sent to the US for sale. 50% had 6 speed transmissions And 50 % had 5 speed automatic transmissions. The SL Classes were considered the fastest Factory built models!
